The extension sends the workspace and branch, the rule set your code must obey, and — when you ask — a symptom in plain English or an incoming change to review. The engine scans and prices, and the findings land on the same mission board the customer's portal reads. Each sortie comes back into the editor with its acceptance criterion and a patch you apply in your own working tree; nothing is closed from the editor, because the criterion has to go green.
